Position Requirements: Two years of college or business school and/or equivalent experience and training. Administrative work in health care agency or executive level administrative experience strongly preferred. Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Ability to establish rapport and work effectively with a variety of people, including those outside of Hospice. Demonstrates excellent organizational skills with ability to clearly set priorities. Ability to handle and maintain confidential matters. Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required. Some experience with Access and Desk Top Publishing skills preferred. Ability to work well within a team setting as well as independently. Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Position Duties and Responsibilities: Act as liaison between HPCC staff and Chief Strategy Officer and VP of Development. Provide back up receptionist duties on phones and cover front desk during receptionist lunch period on assigned day and cover front desk/phones during assigned period when receptionist is out of the office. Provide administrative support on all clerical duties as assigned by the CSO and VP of Development (Schedule meetings and prepare agendas and statistics for monthly meetings and end of year reports. Prepare minutes and any action items. Take phone messages for CSO and VP of Development staff. Coordinate conference room scheduling for the department. Balance Credit Cards and prepare mileage and expense reports. Prepare check requisitions as needed. Prepare/Address Thank You card envelopes for Marketing Staff. Other general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing). Track and monitor marketing information (patient origin by county, referral source). Assist the CSO as needed with the annual marketing plan data. Track activities of marketing staff (Entering required information into Access for contacts made by Community Outreach Marketing Regional Directors. Enter contacts in for Medical Marketing. Track Strategic Plan milestones and preparing the Strategic Plan report card. Assist as needed with internal communications and publications such as Around Hospice and flyers and announcements). Research and track planned giving donor information (Entering planned giving data into Raiser’s Edge. Performing planned giving report queries. Research prospects for gift planning solicitation; maintaining records and schedules of donor cultivation, creating donor reports). Create and maintain records for all prospecting programs, cultivation efforts, planned giving, benchmarking data and program designs. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Requirements: Two (2) years health information management or medical records experience preferred. Computer experience at a level to perform the job requirements of the position. Computer proficiency required, especially Microsoft Word and Excel. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal communication skills, both oral and written, including correct grammar, punctuation and usage. Ability to work well within an interdisciplinary team setting as well as independently. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle a variety of tasks and to assign priorities to those tasks. Performs work with a high degree of accuracy.
Position Duties and Responsibilities: Perform clerical functions such as typing, filing, copying, faxing, answering phones, etc. Maintain Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Complete daily level of care including data entry of all patient level of care changes in Misys. Input telephone orders and post returned orders in Misys. Review and complete data entry of activity logs. Review and audit clinical documentation throughout certification period for accuracy. Complete clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, federal, and accreditation standards Maintain paper medical records. Ensure that all orders and certifications are received in accordance with Agency policies and procedures. Mail and receive physician orders. Coordination of day-to-day branch operations. Receive and process referrals. Process admissions and discharges. Complete check requisitions for bills received at the branch office. Inventory medical supplies to ensure appropriate quantity on hand. Routine order of medical supplies. Rotation of supplies to ensure oldest stock is utilized before expiration. Inventory office supplies to ensure appropriate quantity on hand. Assist VP in securing appropriate office supplies maintaining cost effectiveness. Maintain organization and cleanliness of office supply area. Assist with coordination and scheduling of day-to-day activities of the nursing assistants as needed. Assist clinical and support staff with chart tracking. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
