Direct Donation

Medicare, Medicaid and most private insurance plans cover hospice care; however, reimbursement does not fully cover the cost of care. Hospice & Palliative CareCenter provides many services to help families in need that are not reimbursable by any insurance plan. This level of care can only be provided with your generous donations.

By Phone: Call 336-768-3972 and ask to speak with the Development Department. We can process your credit card gift by phone.

By Mail: You can also send your gift by mail to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, Attn: Finance Department, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103. You may print out and complete the online donation form or simply mail a check and indicate acknowledgment information, if needed.

Tribute Donations

Memorial gifts honor the memory of someone who touched your life in a special way. Many families name Hospice & Palliative CareCenter in obituaries or funeral notices as the preferred beneficiary of memorial gifts. Sample language is as follows: The family requests that memorial gifts be made to Hospice & Palliative CareCenter, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.

Another way to remember your loved ones is to purchase a plaque with your loved one's name which will be permanently installed on the Remembrance Wall at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home on the Winston-Salem campus.

Honorariums provide a way to express appreciation for a living person. The person honored will receive acknowledgement of your gift. Honorary donations are a thoughtful way to remember a person on a special day or holiday.

For over three decades, Hospice & Palliative CareCenter has been providing expert, compassionate care to individuals facing the uncertainties and challenges that accompany a life-limiting illness. Because end-of-life care brings with it an abundance of vulnerability and uncertainty, The Hospice Foundation believes patients and families deserve the peace of mind that comes with knowing they have, and always will have, a trusted hospice provider.

The Hospice Foundation solicits and administers philanthropic contributions that strengthen and benefit Hospice & Palliative CareCenter ensuring the provision of compassionate care to individuals living with life-limiting illness and their families.

Gifts by Will or Trust

Your Will is the cornerstone of your estate planning efforts — your most important legal document. Many of our supporters choose to name Hospice & Palliative CareCenter in their will. The Promise Partnership is a thoughtful and ongoing commitment to provide hope. For $30 a month, $360 a year, Promise Partners gain real ownership — ensuring that we will be here in the future to help anyone in our community who needs the compassionate end-of-life support.
