We Treasure the Power of Community Support

Thank you for your interest in supporting our mission.

Since our very beginning in 1977 when a handful of community members (affectionately known as the back-porch gang) started this grassroots movement to bring hospice care to our state, we have treasured the power of community support.

We served the very first patient to receive hospice care in North Carolina in 1979, and it was all because of dedicated volunteers, donors, and grantors who believed in our mission.

Today, we rely on volunteers as vital members of our team. Whether you’re inspired to spend time with our patients and families or share you energy and talents volunteering for special events or assisting in a more behind-the-scene roll, we are grateful for the much needed support.

It’s hard to express the level of gratitude we feel for our community and our donors who continue to support us every step of the way. Simply put, financial support is vital and there is no way we could offer the depth of care and services we do without the extraordinary generosity of our donors. Perhaps the best way we can say thank you is to be exceptional stewards of your generosity and trust.
