New Volunteer Training Classes

Several New Volunteer Training Classes are offered throughout the year. With offices in Winston-Salem, Walnut Cove, Mocksville and Salisbury, these classes are offered in all locations with varying days and time. These 12-hour training classes are necessary for volunteers who wish to visit with Hospice patients and thier families. Pre-registration is necessary. Classes are limited to 25 participants and you should plan to attend all sessions.

April 21 From 10:00am to 4:00pm, and
April 23 & 30 From 5:30pm to 8:30pm - Walnut Cove

ONE YEAR RULE: We ask everyone to wait for at least one year after experiencing a loss before applying to become a volunteer. We have found it takes this long to live with one’s own grief before being able to help others.
