There are times when patient care cannot be managed at home. There may be a need for a medication adjustment, for more skilled care, or for a brief respite for the primary caregiver. And those are the times patients and families need the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Designed to be a home away from home, the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home provides thoughtful touches and compassionate care. Here, patients continue to receive medical attention in warm, comfortable surroundings, and families and friends can feel at ease knowing that their loved one is being cared for around-the-clock, seven days a week.

The Hospice Home offers an exceptional facility with comprehensive services. Families, including children, are welcome to visit any time. Each patient room has a private bath, plenty of seating, and a recliner where visitors can relax and spend time with loved ones.

Gathering rooms, sun porches, a gazebo, a meditation room and sitting areas are open to family members and visitors. Kitchens are equipped with a refrigerator, stove and microwave so families can bring their own food from home. In addition to regular meals, snacks and dietary supplements are available to patients any time.

Regardless of whether a patient is being cared for in his/her own home or at the Hospice Home, our goal remains the same -- to provide medical, emotional, spiritual and social support in order to keep patients as comfortable as possible and to maintain quality of life for our patients, caregivers and families.

THE KATE B. REYNOLDS HOSPICE HOME ACCEPTS INDIVIDUALS WHO: require more intensive skilled nursing care than can be provided at home are in need of short-term symptom management such as medication adjustment and/or appropriate palliative care procedures require short-term respite care in order to relieve family or primary caregiver
